From the Roberson/Montagu side

Head out of Montagu on the R318, past the Avalon Springs, for 24.5km. At the foot of the Burgers Pass turn left onto a dirt road at the sign for VREDENDAL ( also a sign for Vredendal Keisie Huisie). Follow the signs for DEW Cottage.

From the N1 Side

If you're travelling on the N1 from Cape Town, turn right at the Montagu R318 sign, after De Doorns and the Hex River Pass. After 56km and two passes, at the bottom of the Burgers Pass, just after the small bridge, turn right onto a dirt road at the signs.
